Dr. Emil Schemitsch
Dr. Schemitsch is Chair of the Department of Surgery, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and Chief of the Department of Surgery for London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. He has one of the most extensive research programs in fracture repair in Canada and holds various large orthopaedic grants. He has an extensive publication record with over 600 publications including large international orthopaedic trials in Lancet, BMJ, NEJM, and JAMA.
