Dr. Maura Marcucci
Dr. Marcucci is an Assistant Professor and attending physician at McMaster University, in the Departments of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact, & Medicine, Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Perioperative Care. She is a Scientist in the Perioperative and Surgery research group at PHRI. She is leading an observational study on the association between CPSP and postoperative neurocognitive disorders after elective arthroplasties (https://doi.org/10.1080/24740527.2022.2162375). She has substantial experience in prognostic factors research and IPD meta-analysis collaborations (PMID 20956709, 21349898, 23395515, 25660555, 32976752, 32398016), and had worked with the Cochrane Methods Group for the project comparing IPD and AD meta-analytic approaches (PMID 27595791).
